Traditionally the Getzenrodeo is started with the GetzenRace point 12.00 o’clock. This time however on Sunday, which has a special reason according to Matthias Schubert: “We wanted to equalize the program a little bit. Now that many of the programme items will take place on Saturday, the fans will have the opportunity to experience their idols in a relaxed atmosphere without racing stress”
So now the autograph session, which 2 years ago already led to a real crowd of people, will take place on Saturday afternoon as well as the public press conference. ( Live on Facebook )
The training track, which already contains some uphills, will only be open at certain times of the day. The Saturday will be rounded off with the starting place lottery and the “Getzen Nacht”, which will certainly go into the early morning hours as always and ring in the race day worthily.
Entrance on Saturday is free, entrance on Sunday is 15,00 Euro. Children up to 14 years have free admission.
It is pointed out to travel to Grießbach on Sunday in time and to use the parking guidance system. Sufficient free parking spaces are available. It is also possible to take the Erzgebirgsbahn ( route Chemnitz – Annaberg-Buchholz ) to Scharfenstein. From there you can reach the Getzen Arena in about 10 minutes.
