24MX GetzenRodeo 2025 – Back in the Ore Mountains and Ready for the Next Chapter

The 24MX GetzenRodeo returns to Grießbach on October 24–25, 2025, as part of the FIM Hard Enduro World Championship – this time not as the grand finale, but as the penultimate round of the season. The reason: the legendary Roof of Africa has been added to the World Championship calendar and will host the 2025 season finale.

This marks the beginning of a new chapter for the GetzenRodeo – with a new promoter team within the FIM Hard Enduro World Championship, exciting developments in the race format, and at the same time a return to beloved traditions.

Looking Back: The Grand Finale of 2023

The most recent edition of the GetzenRodeo in 2023 was a true highlight for fans and riders alike. As the big world championship finale, the event played a key role in crowning an outstanding world champion: Manuel Lettenbichler, who had already secured the title before the race, sealed a flawless season with his victory in Grießbach – six wins in six races.

With perfect autumn weather and a buzzing crowd, Lettenbichler dominated the entire weekend. On Friday evening, he won the new knockout format „Red Bull Double Trouble,“ held on a special section that even ran through the festival tent. On Saturday, he left no room for doubt in the GetzenRace and the final – the so-called GetzenChamp: with remarkable consistency, he outclassed the competition once again. Only Billy Bolt could briefly keep up but ultimately had to concede.

2023 was a celebration of extreme enduro sport: the crowd cheered every effort with thunderous applause – and crowned Lettenbichler the “King of GetzenRodeo.” It was already his fourth win in Grießbach (after 2018, 2019, and 2021).

What’s New in 2025?

This time, GetzenRodeo focuses on evolution rather than revolution – with a few exciting updates to the format and a significant boost in spectator friendliness.

The event kicks off Friday afternoon with a brand-new prologue format, where things get serious right from the start.

Saturday will feature the well-known GetzenRace, where the best riders will battle for spots in the grand finale on an even more challenging course. The concluding GetzenChamp once again promises spectacular action and top-level riding.

A Special Treat for Fans: The entire event infrastructure returns to the sports field of the Ore Mountain community. The paddock, rider check-in, expo area, and catering will be located there – offering a true “back to the roots” vibe. The finish area and Joker Line will also return to the legendary “Speckschwarte,” where large spectator stands are planned. This will give all fans a perfect view of the racing action and the 2025 winner.
