24MX Getzenrodeo: Lettenbichler heads to the Getzenwald as championship leader

In just over a week’s time, it’s that moment again: on October 24–25, the small village of Griessbach will host the legendary 24MX Getzenrodeo, the sixth of seven rounds in the 2025 FIM Hard Enduro World Championship. The traditional event in the Getzenwald forest is one of the highlights of the entire series – and this year, it will also decide the Junior World Championship title.

After five completed rounds, Manuel Lettenbichler continues to lead the overall standings with a comfortable margin. The KTM factory rider has celebrated several victories this season and will once again start as one of the top favourites at his home GP in Saxony. Only a few days ago, Lettenbichler proved his strong form once more by winning the Sea to Sky in Kemer (Turkey) ahead of Mario Roman and Mitch Brightmore. The same trio is expected to battle for victory again in the Getzenwald.

Billy Bolt, currently second in the championship, is aiming for a strong comeback after a difficult race in Kemer. The Brit was slowed down by a food poisoning and could only manage 11th place. In Griessbach, he’s determined to bounce back and keep the pressure on Lettenbichler in the title fight.

Also in the spotlight is Felix Bähker, a young German talent from Baden-Württemberg, who has firmly established himself among the world’s Hard Enduro elite. For Bähker, the 24MX Getzenrodeo means everything – it marks the final round of the FIM Junior World Championship. Currently sitting second in the standings, he still has a chance to catch championship leader James Moore. With the home crowd behind him, Bähker is ready to give it his all in pursuit of the world title.

Full program in the Getzenwald

Fans can once again look forward to a spectacular weekend. No other World Championship event allows spectators to get as close to the riders and the action as the Getzenrodeo – a true hallmark of this unique race.

The action kicks off on Friday, October 24, at 3:00 p.m. with the Prologue. Later that evening, at 6:00 p.m., the Rider Presentation in the festival tent will create a fantastic atmosphere as the world’s best Hard Enduro riders are introduced.

Race day on Saturday, October 25, begins at 10:00 a.m. with the GetzenRace. After a short break, the top 20 riders from the morning session will line up for the GetzenChamp at 2:00 p.m., a gruelling 90-minute battle to decide the day’s winner. The podium ceremony will take place immediately afterwards – and in the evening, the celebrations continue at the legendary GetzenNight party.

The entire event area is located around the sports ground in Griessbach.

Tickets are still available in advance at www.getzenrodeo.net.
