Starting Friday, the legendary GetzenRodeo returns to the Getzenwald near Grießbach. The historic venue will once again become the center of the international hard enduro scene over the coming weekend. While the final preparations are underway, the paddock – this year located on the Grießbach sports field – is already bustling with activity. Teams are setting up their tents and getting ready for an action-packed weekend.

Two Days of Pure Hard Enduro – GetzenRodeo 2025

The event on October 24–25, 2025, promises another true motorsport festival. Fans will have plenty of opportunities to experience their favorite riders up close, starting on Friday.

Friday, October 24, 2025 – Training, Prologue, and Opening Ceremony

Administrative checks and technical inspections begin at 08:00, followed by training on the track from 09:00. Riders will fine-tune their setups and prepare for the challenging sections of the Getzenwald.

At 15:00, the first head-to-head competition takes place during the Prologue, where seconds and starting positions for the race day are at stake. The day concludes with the official Opening Ceremony at 18:00, featuring all riders – a highlight for spectators and fans alike.

Saturday, October 25, 2025 – GetzenRace & GetzenChamp

Saturday is all about racing action. The pre-start for the GetzenRace begins at 09:40, with the race starting at 10:00. For around two hours, riders compete on the challenging course for qualification to the finale.

The pre-start for the GetzenChamp final begins at 13:30, with the final race kicking off at 14:00. The 20 fastest riders from the morning compete head-to-head in a thrilling sprint that provides goosebumps every year. The finish is expected around 15:30, with the awards ceremony at 15:45.

The weekend concludes with the evening awards ceremony and party starting at 20:00 in the festival tent.

Arrival and Parking

This year, the paddock is located directly on the Grießbach Sports Field, close to the race track.

Due to several construction sites in the Erzgebirge region, the organization recommends the following routes:

• From Chemnitz: via Amtsberg – Gelenau – Venusberg to Grießbach
• From Annaberg-Buchholz / Marienberg: via B174 to Zschopau, then through Wilischthal to Grießbach
• Alternative routes: via Hilmersdorf-Großolbersdorf or Hopfgarten

The most convenient option is the Erzgebirgsbahn to Scharfenstein station, from where it is only about a 10-minute walk to the spectator area.

Tickets

Tickets are available online until October 23, 12:00, for €35 plus fees at www.getzenrodeo.net. After this, tickets can also be purchased directly at the event office in the paddock an Saturday on all Entry Points.

Friday remains free of charge, and children up to 14 years old have free admission throughout the weekend.
